VFC Chardonnay 2016

Description: A versatile wine, very fresh and drinkable.

Variety: McLaren Vale (70%) and Goulburn Valley (30%) Chardonnay.

Eye: Medium lemon yellow.

Nose: Medium intensity peach nectar, mandarines and elderflower, with a touch of apricot kernel and a light wheatmeal character.

Palate: Grapefruit, lemon and orange, with soft and integrated acid and a medium length.

Alcohol: 13%

Residual Sugar: 4.1 g/L

Food Matches: Grilled chicken or prawns, or vegetarian dishes. Excellent with Japanese Sea-Salt Grilled Red Snapper.
